Freddie wed his Scooby-Doo co-star in a lavish Mexican ceremony in September. He recalls, "I don't remember the details, because I was drunk most of the time. The night before I ate something and I got so sick I started hallucinating. I was literally shaking on the floor. Dawson's Creek star Joshua Jackson has been admitted into an alcohol education program - after he was arrested at a hockey game. Jackson was placed in the program on Wednesday after admitting he was drunk and disruptive at a Carolina Hurricanes game on November 9 last year. The 24-year-old - who plays Pacey in the hit TV drama - allegedly grabbed a security guard around the neck and punched him. Prosecutors have agreed to dismiss a simple assault charge and amend the drunk and disruptive charge by omitting the fighting allegation. As part of the program, Jackson must attend 15 hours of alcohol and substance abuse education - which costs $150 - and complete 24 hours of community service. He must also remain employed and not be convicted of any misdemeanor or felony charges while in the program. If Jackson completes all the requirements by October 9, prosecutors will dismiss the drunk and disruptive charge. He then can seek to have the charge dropped from his record. Jackson's lawyer, Brad Bannon, says, "We thought it was the most appropriate outcome under the circumstances."

Madonna schoss mit ihrer Opening-Performance zum 20. Jubiliäum der MTV Video Music Awards den Vogel ab: Sie sang zusammen mit Britney Spears und Christina Aguilera "Like A Virgin". Es begann damit, dass Christina und Britney ganz in weiß aus einer riesigen Hochzeitstorte sprangen und Madonna kam in einem schwarzen Leder- und Seidenanzug dazu. Fehlte bloß noch der Priester. Der Part wurde von Rapperin Missy Elliott übernommen. Dann kam es zum Zungenkuss-Skandal in New York: Superstar Madonna knutschte Britney und Christina völlig hemmungslos ab. Justin Timberlake äußerte sich darüber nur mit dem Kommentar, dass er es schade fand, nicht mitküssen zu dürfen.

Guckt euch die VMAs an. Waren meiner Meinung nach die besten seit 10 Jahren. Ein bißchen Rap- und R&B-lastig was die Auftritte angeht, aber für mich genau das richtige.
Fängt ja gleich gut an mit Madonnas Auftritt und dann schneiden sie sofort nach dem Kuss (als Madonna sich gerade Aguilera zuwendet) erstmal auf JT, um seine Reaktion zu sehen. Sehr nett.
Und Chris Rocks Monolog kam fast an Steve Martin bei den Oscars heran.
"They always punk people like Justin, all these Micky Mouse Celebrities. You never see them try to punk any rappers. I wanna see them try to punk DMX. 'Hey DMX, you've been punk'd.' - 'Oh yeah, you've been stabbed!'"

Ich habe sie mir letzte Nacht samt Pre- und Post-Show mal aufgenommen, obwohl mich Musik-Preise nicht soo sehr reizen und fesseln wie die vom Filmbusiness.
Außerdem kann ich Chris Rock nicht ausstehen - wie Martin Lawrence z.B. auch. Aber die Zitate sind gewiss nicht schlecht. Hoffe, ich verstehe den quirligen Kerl auch

Irgendwie muß Madonna sich jedes Mal ins Rampenlicht stellen und allen anderen die Show stehlen. Das war nicht ihr erster und auch nicht letzter inzenierte Skandal. Ganz ehrlich? Ich hätte es interessanter gefunden wenn Justin Timberlake der Britney einen Zungenkuß gegebene hätte.

Ich fand die VMA's auch gut, war aber viel zu viel Werbung!!!
Madonna/Brit/Christina fand ich klasse, und das nicht des Kusses wegen.
Die restlichen Auftritte fand ich nicht so toll, ich hätte auf M.J. Blige, Metallica und Coldplay verzichten können, aber gut. Chris Rock liebe ich und er war mal wieder klasse.
