Hab auch irgendwie mitbekommen, dass Anke Engelke jetzt doch nicht für Pro7 die Oscars mitmoderiert, kann das sein?

obwohl ich diese entscheidung absolut richtig finde, ist es doch schade, das des ausfällt. so sah man immer, wer mit wem kommt. aber in der situation ist es natürlich richtig so.

Die Engelke sollte ja am roten Teppich stehen - kann mir denken, dass sie nun keine Verwendung mehr für sie haben.
Sind die Gerüchte wahr, dass auch der Kerkeling zum Oscar-Team gehört?

Ich versteh nicht, warum sie's dann nicht einfach verschieben. Klar, weil's ja auch Geld bringt, trotzdem...

Ich wusste gar nicht, dass Anke Engelke das machen sollte. Das hat doch in den letzten Jahren immer Susan Atwell gemacht, gell?!

ja soweit ich es noch weiß, war es die Atwell...und dieses Jahr sollte es geteilt werden zwischen Engelke und Pielhaus (schreibt man die so?), zumindestens stehen beide noch auf der Pro7 Programmsite.
@Athena wie kommst auf HaPe? Wo hast du das gelesen? also steht weder was auf Pro7 noch auf seiner HP.

Die Pielhau wird im Studio sitzen und das Ganze ab und an kommentieren und zusammenfassen, denke ich mal ... so wie es die Atwell immer gemacht hat.

@Fallbala: Fand das mit dem Kerkeling auch komisch - meine Freundin wollte das gehört haben, und ich wollte es nicht bezweifeln, weil sie auch von der Absage der Pre-Show vor mir wusste. Aber es ist wohl doch unwahrscheinlich.

Ich kann verstehen, dass sie die Verleihung nicht verschieben. Denn wer weiß schon wie sich die ganze Lage entwickelt und wann der Krieg vorbei ist? Dann besser jetzt, mit ein paar Abstrichen...

Hey, mir haben doch schon zwei Leute zugesagt - die dritte Zusage ist eigentlich nur Formsache (*hoff*) Wird also doch eine Art Mini-Party in Pyjamas.

Anstatt des normalen Starauflaufs:

Ansonsten haben jetzt noch Meryl Streep, Susan Sarandon (!) und Cate Blanchett als Presenter zu gesagt (aber wie bereits gepostet sollen sich diese ja an das Script halten - nur Gewinner sollen und können sagen, was ihnen beliebt) - und Catherine Zeta-Jones wird mit Queen Latifah, wie erhofft, singen Letztere wird Zellwegers Part übernehmen, weil diese sich angeblich vor einem Live-Publikum unsicher fühlt.

Seltsam... die hochschwangere Catherine Zeta-Jones, die sogar mit einem Arzt anreist, tritt auf und Renee nicht?

ABC (dort wird die Verleihung ausgestrahlt) hat übrigens gesagt, dass sie über wichtige Ereignisse während der Show berichten werden - wenn es etwas wichtiges gibt.

Finde CZJ in dieser Sache eh klasse. Früher hatte man ja den Eindruck, sie sei sehr auf Äußerlichkeiten bedacht, manchen erscheint sie arrogant. Aber mit ihrer Schwangerschaft geht sie ganz natürlich um, kaschiert auch nicht so viel und zeigt sich locker.

Auch die Garderobe wird nun umgestellt und soll schlichter ausfallen:

Angeblich hat die Engelke wegen ihrer kritischen Haltung gegenüber der US-Politik ihr Auftreten abgesagt und nicht - wie ich vermutete - weil ihre Interviewer-Rolle nun wegfällt.
Der für den ausländischen Oscar nominierte Finne kommt auch nicht.

Oscar Parties Shut Out the Press
The world's media are being shut out of Sunday's Academy Awards by a paranoid Hollywood. After Wednesday's announcement that the Academy would make this year's event "glitz-free" because of war in Iraq, party organizers have followed suit - scrapping grand red-carpet entrances and banning the press. The Vanity Fair Party is the most significant casualty. Camera crews, photographers and reporters have all been blacklisted from the black-tie bash at Hollywood eaterie Morton's. A source says, "It's the second biggest gawking event of the Oscars - after the red carpet, but some celebrities were saying the media presence would have them feel very uncomfortable. If they're caught on camera laughing or whooping it up, they come across as shallow. If they try to look solemn and comment on the whole thing, they come across as shallow."

Kidman Refuses To Pull Out of Oscars
As the Oscars ceremony is scaled down and stars like Will Smith have pulled out of attending, nominated actress Nicole Kidman assures she'll be flying in for the show. The leggy beauty, nominated for a Best Actress Academy Award for her portrayal of Virginia Woolf in The Hours, is determined to attend the Hollywood ceremony on Sunday, despite the somber tone that the American-led war with Iraq has now set. Kidman's confirmation has silenced speculation in Hollywood circles that she had planned to stay away what is expected to be her winning night. The actress's publicist Catherine Olim says, "She's still planning on flying in with her family. Fingers crossed."

Streep Considers Oscars No Show
Oscar nominee Meryl Streep may follow fellow star Will Smith and turn down her invitation to this year's Academy Awards. Angelina's Oscar Dress Stolen
Angelina Jolie's Academy Awards dress has been stolen in London. The Girl, Interrupted Oscar-winner's figure-hugging red corset dress worth $4,500 and that of American socialite Paris Hilton were taken during a raid on the car of British designer Scott Henshall just days before he was due to fly out to Los Angeles to dress the pair tonight. Other dresses, accessories and jewelery worth a total of more than $50,000 were also stolen from the Bmw which was parked in London's swanky Knightsbridge. Henshall has been frantically searching the capital for the missing gowns. He says, "I would offer a cash reward to anyone who returned them in time. I have already been searching litter bins in the area in case the dresses were dumped. There were 20 outfits in the collection and now the nine most glamorous have gone. There is no way I can remake Angelina's or any of the other dresses in time."
