Jaja, das sagen sie alle und wenn ich es nicht geschrieben hätte, hätte mir doch irgendeiner am Ende 'nen Strick draus gedreht! Ach ja und Moulin Rouge zählt nicht, da sind ja alle Bilder schön.

Gibt es eigentlich noch mehr solcher Bilder mit Jude Law ausser dem oben und dem im Bett?! Das finde ich ja auch ziemlich gut. Ich werd's gleich mal posten. Zusammen mit meinen letzten beiden.

Deinen Ärger über Amazon kann ich schon verstehen. Ich halte mich erstmal mit meinen Äusserungen zurück bis ich weiss, ob ich Bear Facts bekomme. Ach nee, das heisst ja jetzt anders.

*shallow grave* habe ich mir mal vor einiger zeit auf dvd um 20 euro oder so gekauft und es nie mehr bereut. hat jemand von euch *velvet goldmine* auf video/dvd (gibts da irgendwelche besonderen extras?) bzw. gefällt euch der film? da ich ja so auf musik UND filme stehe, fand ich die mischung genial, obwohl viele den film verrissen haben.

@winterblue: Velvet Goldmine habe ich nicht auf DVD und ich habe ihn auch nur auf Video gesehen, keine Ahnung ob da Extras drauf sind.
Ich habe schonmal versucht, meine Meinung zu dem Film zu schreiben nachdem ich ihn gesehen habe. Müsste weiter vorne stehen. Sieh es mir nach wenn ich jetzt zu faul bin, das nochmal zu schreiben. Ich persönlich fand ihn aber nicht so gut. War zwar zum einmal Angucken ganz ok und unterhaltsam, aber ich habe jetzt nicht das Verlangen ihn nochmal zu sehen.

Zu blöd, dass ich kein Premiere habe... zur Zeit laufen da ständig Ewan-Filme: "Nora", "Velvet Goldmine", "Das Auge" und sogar "Desserts" (ein Kurzfilm)

Die sind vom 5.9. (!) und in Schottland aufgenommen. Sie zeigen u.a. sehr deutlich, dass Ewan nicht vom Rauchen loskommt

Ewan McGregor had the hottest ticket in town last night as he cut the ribbon to officially open the new ?0million Harvey Nichols store in Edinburgh.

Later more than 500 celebrity guests, including the Atomic Kittens' Jenny Frost and Kylie's model boyfriend James Gooding, watched as Ewan raised ?0,000 for the Children's Hospice Association Scotland from an auction of one-off designer kilts.

Ewan told the crowd: "We are trying to raise ?0m to ease the pressure on Rachel House - this cash will go a long way to giving children and their parents the break they need."

Sind wirklich klasse! Das ist der Ewan, wie ich ihn kennen und lieben gelernt habe, im Trainspotting Look! Meine Meinung darüber kennt ihr ja vielleicht schon, umso kürzer die Haare desto besser!
Und in dem Anzug schaut er ja mal wirklich knackig aus! Hach, ich liebe Männer in Anzügen...
Das mit dem Rauchen, war ja eigentlich klar oder...?!? Aber ich kann ihn da schon verstehen, wie oft ich schon versucht hab aufzuhören...

K&B: How are you?
EM: I’m pretty good, you?
K&B: We’re good we’re real excited that you joined us, like we said, very seldom do people actually follow up on it.
EM: Well, I had such a good time the last time and I had to come back I couldn’t make it there, but I had to come back
K&B: Hey, Our producer lightning tells us you are on the set of a new movie, you’re working on something right now, what can you tell us about it?
EM: This 60’s comedy with Rene Zellweger called down with love…
K&B: Oh
EM: It’s kind of…absolutely hilarious…it’s a…it’s a…you Remember the Rock Hudson Doris Day sex comedy?
K&B: Sure
EM: Well, it’s kinda , it’s being made like that…So We’re making it as if it’s…so we’re making it like we were making it in the 60’s…all in the studio using the back lot for exteriors and then back projection and the cars…
K&B: It’s gotta be kind of fun to go from one wild project like star wars to go to something completely completely completely different.
EM: That’s right. Well, we finished star wars quite a long time ago, but it takes them, it’s been almost 2 years at least a year and a half since pre…uh…post production, so…
K&B: Wow (sounding like drones)
EM: It was quite a while ago for me. And I just finished…uh..I did this independent film in Scotland for eight weeks, I just finished that called Young Adam which is…um.. REALLY dirty

K&B: …and what do you mean by dirty exactly? …it’s just means he shows his butt again…(laughs)
EM: It’s dirty…it’s filthy…it’s disgusting (keeps on laughing)
K&B: Now, let me ask you this Ewan…Since…you’re in town…you’re in Los Angeles right now?
EM: Yeah, yeah
K&B: Do you ever, are you at all tempted to drive by the Mann’s Chinese Theatre and just roll down your window at your car and look at the guys who are laying out on the sidewalk for a month to see your movie and just go ‘LOSERS’!!??
EM: (Laughs out loud!!) SCRUBBERS!!!
K&B: I mean…imagine…imagine they’re…they’re out there in the sidewalk, sleeping in their own vomit and here comes Obi Wan Kenobi who tells them they’re looooossseeeerrrsss
EM: I don’t know…but then it would be…but then they’d all come after me and stuff…and it would be terrifying…
K&B: Oh yeah…but you’re a Jedi…what do you care?
EM: (laughs)
K&B: Oh wait, that’s just in the movie. Are you, are you happy that it’s finally coming out, is it one of those deals that is just has been so loooong, you’ve been asked so many times about it.
EM: Yeah, it takes a long time. I mean, what’s really…what’s really good about it is that I was shown it last…last Sunday I think…uh…in Scotland and it…and it BLEW me away. I was really...REALLY pleased with it. And um, especially during a film like this, where it’s all blue screen and you know there’s no kinda environment round-about you while you’re making it…so…
K&B: Cool / Right
EM: …when you see it…finally…it’s kinda like watching someone else playing you at the movie! Yeah, ‘cause it’s all the stuff you’ve never seen before.
K&B: Sure, yeah
EM: All that stuff, you never seen any of that, you’ve seen the drawings of it and artists impressions and la la la, but to actually see yourself in the midst of it is uhm…and they’ve really pulled the bowl out on this one…the special effects are extRAOOORdinary
K&B: Why do you think he went…uh uh with clowns this time…? The attack of clowns, I think that’s not a good move (no…Kevin, Kevin it’s CLONES…It’s actually Clone Wars not Clowns...) Oh
EM: (laughing) Attack of the Clowns
K&B: Now Ewan…Let me ask you this…I know what a big deal it was for your co-star Samuel L. Jackson when he got his lightsaber
EM: Yes…yes…
K&B: Did that uh…did that blow your mind to have your own lightsaber as a jedi
EM: Yeah…I remember the umm…we were…we saw the first one in London…The Phantom Menace…we were rehearsing all the fight sequence with Nic Gilardof our fight arranger and the props guy turned up on our rehearsal space and said, ‘Ewan you gotta do something.’ So we went down to the props room where there’s about 60 guys making STUFF…you know bits of THINGS
K&B: Right
EM: …and uh…he brought us this wooden case with two padlocks on it and he unlocked the padlocks and opened it up and it was inlaid with felt…there was like 9…9 or 10 different lightsaber handles…
K&B: Ohmigod
EM: …and I got to choose one…and I chose the kinda narliest, NASTIEST kinda lookin’ one you know…
K&B: …and then…and then…
EM: …I didn’t get to choose my color though…apparently Sam got to choose the color of his blade
K&B: SONOFABITCH…yeah…it’s like he’s purple or somethin’?! Yeah, he’s different from everybody else
EM: …I want my own color in the next film and a BIGGER TRAILER GODDAMMIT!! (Laughs)
K&B: …Now Ewan, did you then take it with you to Moulin Rouge and Black Hawk Down and all your new movies?
EM: You know…I was gonna “nick it” by the end of the shoot
K&B: You know…walk around the set with your lightsaber
EM: Yeah…I thought I’d “nick it” but on the day we wrapped up, the lightsaber was nowhere to be found…they LOCKED away
K&B: AAAWWWEEE
EM: …But maybe by the end of the 3rd one…you know…I’ll get to keep it…I don’t know
K&B: Yeah…yeah…now tell us now… we heard bits and pieces...and by the way we had Kevin Smith the director on with us yesterday…who’s a huge star wars fan and he said that this film just blew him away…
EM: …yeah…
K&B: …and he told us a little bit…but I want to hear it from your perspective of the new yoda in episode 2
EM: …well…it really works…I mean it kinda…it’s…it’s…it’s a slight shame for us because when we saw the first film, we were actually acting with yoda…you know…he was THERE…
K&B: …right…
EM: with Frank Oz operating him…in fact there was about 3 or 4 people operating him. And at the end of each take…when they uhm…when they called CUT at the end of the take…yoda would DIE...in front of you…you know
K&B: (laughs)…it was a puppet…
EM: …because they would stop operating him…so we would just kinda…die…
K&B: (laughs)
EM: …and it was really …it was upsetting…every time they called cut you were like “buddy…are you okay?”…
K&B: (laughs)
EM: …Because he passed away…so this time we were just acting into uh…into nothing…and yoda was calling out to us…but it was…it was beautifully done
K&B: and I hear one of the things that STEALS the movie is that yoda is in some kind of fantastic fight with a lightsaber
EM: (laughs)
K&B: that’s awesome
EM: well, I was reading there on the set there you know…that we had this big fight with this guy Dooku…me and Hayden Christiansen…who’s a fantastic actor by the way…
K&B: yeah…
EM: and then…um…and then we both get taken out…and yoda comes in and kicks Dooku’s ass so…I was reading in the script going, “come on…no really…is this gonna work?” But then when I saw it…it’s fan…he obviously just saves all his energy for the fighting…you know…that’s why he moves so slowly
K&B: (laughs)…that’s why he seems so old in the rest of the movies.
EM: …That’s right…yeah
K&B: I know you only have a couple of minutes here because you have a table ready for your movie you gotta get to. Have you seen much of the stuff with your face on it? I know they are not doing as much for this movie as they did for the last one…but I bought a bag of potato chips the other day, Lay’s Potato Chips with your face on it and I wondered how you feel about that?...
EM: …I never saw that yet…(laughs)…it’s kinda weird I suppose seeing that on coke cans and stuff
K&B: yeah I’m sure…
EM: …but uhm…yeah…no I haven’t seen much of that…I saw my doll yesterday and I thought it looked a bit like Richard Chaimberlin on the Thornbirds…ya know… (laughs together) so they managed to get me to looking just like Richard
K&B: Now as long as these movies take to make you…and you’re gonna be reportin’ for work I imagine this year for Episode 3 right?
EM: I start Episode 3…they’ll start preproduction on Episode 3 as soon as this one’s finished coming out …and we start filming it…uh…next May in Sydney
K&B: Wow…how ‘bout that. Well, we couldn’t be more excited along with the rest of the world about this movie. We’ve heard great things about it. You, as Kevin said when we brought you on, that you are such a gentleman…and a fine…fine guy to live up to your promise to come back and talk about Star Wars with us. We can’t thank you enough for carvin’ out some time for us.
EM: It’s my great pleasure, always to be on KROQ…so there you go…
