All Doubts Gone, a Spike/Dru Fanfic

There she was. Cheating on him with a damn, ugly chaos demon.
He couldn’t believe it. He just stood there in the doorway and watched in shock. Or was it amazement? No, he decided, it was more of the shock part. It seemed to him, like billions of hours passed while he stood in the darkened room, in the middle of the afternoon, in Brazil. Watching his eternal love cheating on him. With an ugly disgusting chaos demon.
He couldn’t get over it.
Well, in reality, it was just seconds, and Drusilla didn’t see Spike standing in the doorway, mouth wide open.
The small room didn’t contain much more funiture than an old bed and a little sink. A typical hour- motel. He couldn’t believe that she lowered herself so far, just to fuck with a Chaos Demon.

Finally, he tuned. Spike shut the door behind him, an just wanted to run. Run like a fool. A lovesick fool of course.
He felt the world spin, and a sickness expanded in his stomach. He never had vomited before, he didn’t even know if vampires could do that, but now he really felt like he had to.
Anyway, there was a problem about that whole running thing. Sunlight.
“Bloody hell.”
Well, so far so good. There was a sentence. Or at least some kind of it. But still no solution for the sunlight. **I could just run as fast as I can to our mansion, and then get the bloody hell away.
Right Spike, run two bloody miles in the shiny happy sunlight. Good idea you poofter.**

Damn, he should never have tried to force her to him. It was just a bloody fault. Espacially that bond with the slayer. Really didn’t want to go there.
While he was standing in the small hallway of the cheap motel **Of course, a motel, the perfect place to cheat* , she came up to him. *bloody well heard me*. His dark goddess. In her black long robe and with her long raven hair falling over her shloulder, she looked even more amazing than the other times. The satin dress clung perfectly to her lean form. She just was a total contrast to the white wallpaper that hung from the walls in stripes. Like a beautiful crow in the midle of a snow landscape.

She was everything to him, and he couldn’t imagine unlive without her. Hell, he couldn’t even form a clear thought when it came to that topic. It was just.... impossible.
Spike wasn’t sure, if he was able to face the love of his live right now, so he turned his back to her, while she was slowly approaching him. He took an unnecessary breath and prepared himself to leave this place, leave his love, until he felt a cool, porcellian white hand on his shoulder. He imidiately turned around and faced her again. **Well so much for resistance**. Still that look on her face. The dim sunlight that got through the shutters in front of the windows played shadows over her face. Spike finally forced himself to speak.

“What the bloody hell was that in there?”

Those eyes, hell no, those eyes.
No answer. That now was just great. He rolled his eyes desperately.

“Uh, won’t talk to me. Well let me think luv, who just cheated on whom?”
This was ridicoulus. He wished he had a way to escape. To get away from this girl **Oh wait, vampire** who just drove him crazy. And that she did since they had arrived in bloody Brazil. She always turned her back on him (well, not literally) ignored him, treated him like dirt. He never knew why.
And there Spike was, tried to surprise her and caught her cheating on him. In this place, with this demon.
Spike looked around himself, like that would give him an answer to his problems. Like an exit would be a solution.
He felt like he would burst, like all the anger which had collected in the last weeks, hell months, would just bubble to the surface and then one-way-ticket out. Well, THAT would definately also be a one-way-ticket-to-hell for their love. So he hold back.
**Wait, why am alway I the one to hold back? Bloody chit cheated on me.**

“Spike, princess....” he heard her childish voice.

Oh right, princess... Can do what she likes right? Well newsflash luv. Not this time. Guess what? Spike can also be a nasty boy.

“You know what, pet? Sod off. It’s enough now with your games and moodswings. Go on, shag that bloody chaos demon or whatever you like to death, have a nice unlive and all that, just let me go, alright?”

He glared at her. **Wait, I didn’t mean that, right?**. Spike felt the familiar urge to take her into his cold armes, stroke her, and tell her that he didn’t mean the words that just came out of his mouth. That he didn’t mean to hurt her.
No, he couldn’t just let him be affected like that. She was beautiful, and when he looked at her, it always felt like his unbeating heart would burst in his chest. But that was not the point. **No, the point is, that you spent nearly a century with her, wanker.**
Spike shoved the thought away from him.
He looked into Drusillas face. Full of disbelief and a little hurt. **See luv, nasty boy.** She still just stood there, still like a rock or something. Was this really his childish little Dru?

The sight of her got unbearable for him and he turned.
Walked away.
Down the ugly hallway and hopefully away from all ugly things that had happened.
**Well not that hard.**
But the farer he got away from her, the more started his heart to ache. It was like a bloody mechanism. Or a whole new prison. **The prison called love** he tought a bit ironically. He nearly had reached the stairs to the ground floor. Time to think about how to continue.

Spike decided fast and easy. take the fastest way back, the sewers. Then jump into a last-minute airplane and just get the hell away from her.
That didn’t sound to hard.
Perhaps, one day he could forget. It sure as hell would take a bloody long time, but some day... who knows.
Spike looked down the stairs into the nearly as ugly ground floor. There was a small counter **Hey I could eat the counter guy** a rotting plant and the sunny exit. And there was the backdoor he couldn’t see in the moment, through which he had come and through which he could leave. Led directly to the sewers.
He heard slow steps behind him. Spike thought about his last chance to run and let everything behind him. This really was his last chance, because he kinda knew that in case he stayed, he would alway be drawn to her like iron to a magnet.
But who said it was her who was behind him?
**You smell it boy** his subconcious screamed, but it didn’t reach his thoughts.
So he took all his mental strenght, and turned to see if it was really her. He didn’t know if he wanted it to be her. Then it would be the old dilemma. But if it wasn’t her... Could everything be over so soon?
Hell, he knew nothing at all.
So Spike just turned. There she was again, the vampire, which had been on his side for a bloody century. Standing there, in the middle of the hallway, just looking at him. Gone was all the crazyness, that you could usually see in her gaze. It was just a look full of regret.
Spike couldn’t bear the sight in front of him, and the first time in his entire existens with Drusilla, he couldn’t face her, and instead looked at the blue carpet on the floor. Nice carpet. **Bloody hell**.
He debatet whith himself wheter to turnaround and walk away again, or to wait and let her speak. If she wanted to that is. Of course, he decided to wait.

“Mummy didn’t want to hurt my little Spike.”

Oh that again.
Spike said nothing. Just stood there and waited for something to happen. If vampires were able to choke, he right now would choke on the silence.
Alright, the disgusting smell in the hallway also did a part.
When nothing happend, he finally broke the silence.

“You bloody well did. All I want to know is...”

His voice sounded unnaturally loud.
**Damn, my lip does NOT quiver know. Come on brave vampire and all that..**

“All I want to know is why. Why you treat me like that, what’s it all about?”

He thought he already knew the answer. Spike now desperately wished for a fag and began to nervously finger his coat.

“Nasty little slayer.”

Yep, there it was. He rolled his eyes again. Altough it really was no rolleyes- moment.

“Cursing through your veins like some nasty yellow poison. Oh, and poison she is for you. And you don’t let mummy and miss edith heal the poison inside of you.”

Sometimes he really wished, she could just not talk like a loonie, but at least she gesticulated with her arms in the air again.

“Pet that’s rot and you know it.”

“Mommy thinks she can’t heal you....”

What was that now? What did it mean?
Spike didn’t understand. I couldn’t be what he thought it was. No, he didn’t understand. So he just shut every clear thought and probably the truth up.
Drusilla looked at him sadly, and then, something happened what he never expected. She turned. Turned and walked away from HIM.
Again, he caught himself staring.
He saw like behind a curtain of fog how she slowly began to walk down this damn hallway. Her black robe swinging a little after her. It felt like he was paralyzed again.
Spike didn’t want that to happen. He didn’t want that LET happen.
So he quickly shed the stiffness away from him.

In one quick motion he had her pinned to the nearest wall.Hard. He looked deep into her crazy beautyful dark eyes. Then he kissed her. Hard. and brutal.
Well, she liked that, he knew. And he also knew, that he couldn’t just let a goddess like that walk away from him. Hell, she was everything dark and beautyful he could imagine. Every bloodshed he did together with her was still in his memories. Her beautyful art of brutalness. It was just intoxicating.
She still tasted a little after this demon, but he ignored it. The important thing was the good old Dru taste behind it. Something like salt, blood and cinnamon.
He felt himself getting aroused only from the taste of her.
Spike broke the kiss.

“Does that smell like the slayer pet?”

He whispered huskily into her ear. . Then he morphed into gameface and bit her on her neck. Her blood, his essence for unlive.

“Does that feel like some poofter walking in the slayer’s shadow?”

Spike trailed a line of kisses along her jarline.
And that was it. He felt the wall inside Drusilla shatter. All doubts gone.
She grabbed him by the neck, and kissed him as brutally as he did before, drawing blood, their juices mingling.

Oh, and it was just like the old times, where everything had been alright, and it was just about blood and great, great love.
And Spike just convinced himself that it would be exactly like that again.

~THE END~
