Ansonsten empfehle ich dir Aber die Seite von Eventsrescue, die unter anderem aus dem Grund entstanden ist das s3 events etwas neben der Spur ist.

Offiziell wurde Destiny nie abgesagt, aber ich glaube kaum das die auch nur einen vernünftigen Gast bieten können, der Flug und Hotel von Deutschland nach London aus wert wäre.

Ich für meinen Teil hab Destiny gar nicht mehr auf dem Plan. Das GEld werde ich eh nicht wieder sehen, und wenn doch, dann müsste ich wahrscheinlich wesentlich mehr dafür investieren. Ich freu mich auf dei Fed Con und den White Room und dann war es das für mich in diesem JAhr an Cons

What Events Rescue would like to do is help.

Events Rescue will be a message board where you can discuss events openly, and so long as you avoid bad language and personal attacks, you will be able to post your opinions, both good and bad, about events you have gone to. We aren't affiliated with any event organiser or group, and while organisers and those working with them are welcome to join and post, they aren't in charge. Unlike some teflon-coated boards, posts here will be able to actually stay up or we'll give you a reason why not.

Events Rescue will hopefully gather together articles and suggestions to help people who might want to run their own events. Lots of first time organisers trying to run make mistakes they could avoid simply by looking to see who has made the same mistakes in the past. People will be welcome to agree, argue or put forward their own advice on the subjects discussed, because just because we say "this is the way to do it" doesn't mean we must be right, or that it's the only way.

Events Rescue is not going to run anything itself, though that isn't to say individual people in Events Rescue might not do so one day. And Events Rescue isn't going to encourage or discourage anyone else from running events. What we will try to do is provide what we hope are helpful suggestions. We don't plan to call up established organisers and tell them how to do things. The information will be available for everyone to read if they are interested, and then to use or not as they like.

Lastly, if you are new to attending events, there are a lot of people out there happy to take your money, and nobody telling you who these people really are. Checking their message boards isn't a way to find out, as some boards deliberately remove negative comments about their own events. Hopefully ER will become a place you can check and get the basic background information and a balanced viewpoint on whether they are value for money. If you look here and think the viewpoint isn't balanced, then post your own opinion and balance things.

Es wird wahrscheinlich auch mein Schicksal sein, das Geld abzuschreiben. Habe auf der erwähnten Seite gelesen, das es einen Gast geben soll und die Bestätigungen bis Mai rausgesehen sollen. Glaube allerdings nicht mehr daran

white room also hier im Thread steht nichts dazu, ich bin schlicht und einfach zu Faul hier noch zu posten, außerdem hab ich halt privat mächtig um die ohren, das ich auch gar nicht dazu kommen. aber Fragen beantworte ich natürlich immer gerne

Die White Room Con ist eine Angel Convention, veranstalltet von www.starfury.co.uk Allerdings stehen auf der Main Site keine Infos, und die Yahoogroups ist auch nicht besonders informativ. Ins Forum gehen, schon eher.

Statt finden tut das ganze vom 29-31 Oktober 2004 im London, Heathrow Thistle und kostet 65 Pfund. Tickets sind limitiert auf 600. Für die Coktailparty wird garantiert das alle Stargäste anwesend sind, und eigentlich sollte das limitiert sein auf 150, da aber am ersten Tag (1.April) schon 142 verkauft wurde, hat man das Limit auf 175 erhöht. Ich weiß nicht ob es dafür noch Karten gibt, aber ich bin zumindest drin Kann mir die Con zar überhaupt nicht leisten, aber mein Geburstag fällt auf das WE, und deshalb hab ich garnicht drüber nachgedacht ob ich fahre. Mal abgesehen davon das sich SEHR HARTNÄCKIG die Gerüchte halten das Chris Kane auf der Convention sein wird. Und das will ich mir nicht entgehen lassen.

Der erste Gast für die Con ist J Augsut Richards, und heute Abend 20h unserer Zeit will Sean Harry den nächsten Gast bekannt geben (evtl auch die nächsten zwei)

Intern wird das ganze als "follow up" für die "Senior Partners" gesehen, die es im letzten Herbst gab. Fotos davon findest du auf www.fortunate.de deshalb ist es auch recht wahrscheinlich das dort Stargäste kommen, die auch schon auf der Partners Con war. Und wenn man Angel 5 kennt, sollte einem eigentlich auch der Begriff "White Room" nicht unbekannt sein, wobei ich gestehen muß, ich kenn Angel ,aber der Begriff war mir trotzdem fremd

Weil Chris Kane ...yeah, das wäre ein Grund, wieder auf UK Cons zu gehen. Rein schon aus musikalischer Sicht hehe.

Zum Thema Destiny - mehrere Leute haben Refunds via ihrer Creditcard Company bekommen, den Versuch wäre es wert. Die entsprechenden Threads und Hilfreiche Tips dazu findest Du u.a. auf http://pub107.ezboard.com/bs3boards und auf der schon erwähnten EventsRescue.

Ich hatte Schwein, musste aus organisatorischen Gründen bis nach der Harvest warten mit dem Ticketkauf...und nach der Con war es ja recht eindeutig, daß Pauline mit Vorsicht zu geniessen war. Leider hatten ja nur sehr viele Leute (und ich definitiv auch wenn es gegangen wäre) schon vorher Tickets gekauft, da alles so gut aussah
Denke mal das Harvest/Destiny Disaster hat dem Conbusiness übelst geschadet.
Starfury kann man allerdings 100% vertrauen...aber ich glaub das muß ich niemandem in diesem Thread erzählen lol

Als Sean vorhin Chris angekündigt hat, da hab ich echt ne Party gefeiert. Ich hab ihn mit Steve ja nun schon im letzten Jahr geshen, und die beiden waren absolut wahnsinn. Wenn die White Room Con nur halbwegs so gut wird wie die senior partners con, dann wird das die beste Geburstagsparty die ich je hatte !

Mittlerweile sind wir drei Mädls die auf der Con Geburstag haben. ich hoffe Chris kennt den Text von Happy Birthday

An alle die Tickets für die Destiny Con (Nachfolge Con der Harvest, veranstaltet von S3Events) haben:

Hi everyone,

At the moment I don’t have proper internet access so can’t update the website to reflect the below post, although I hope to within the next week, so if anybody could post the following onto any message boards they visit which may have Destiny attendees registered on it to let them know it would be much appreciated.

Our June 2004 event, Destiny, will not be going ahead. All attendees who have booked tickets will be contacted within the next few weeks hopefully through e-mail but if not then via regular mail to discuss refunds and getting their money back etc. If anybody has booked a ticket for the event and changed e-mail address from the one the booked with, can they please e-mail me at s3_events@hotmail.com so I have the correct one to contact you with.

I also want to apologise for the events of the last year. Not just the event itself but the way things have been handled since then. I know they’ve left a lot to be desired and I’ve pushed a lot of peoples patience to the limits. There is no excuse for that so I’m not even going to try to justify it. I know a lot of people seem to think I’m sitting on some tropical beach sipping cocktails spending your money sitting gleefully at what has happened. This couldn’t be further from the truth. When I started to organise The Harvest it was for one reason only, and that was I was a fan of the show. I think it’s fairly obvious to everybody, myself included, that I took on too much and didn’t ask for help when I needed it, or admit when I didn’t know something or was wrong. Again I want to apologise to you all for what has happened and the way I have handled things. I’m also sorry it’s taken 10 months for me to realise this.

Due to circumstances beyond our control we are sorry to have to announce that the event called HUSH due to take place in Aberdeen at the end of April has unfortunately had to be cancelled. We will be in contact with all ticket holders for the event in due course.

Dear Forum Members,

As no doubt you have noticed I have not been on the board since October when failing health made it necessary for me to cease helping with the Hush event, Stu although looking after me still was helping organise the event with Dee and Ben and as far as myself and my husband was concerned all was well. I would like to make you all aware that Stu and I never were part of the Phoenix company which is owned by Mr Ben Bush but were working for him and helping where we could as we are Buffy fans and wanted to see an event held nearer to us than Glasgow.
Well it came to our attention in January of this year that Mr Ben Bush had been systematically withdrawing money from the company to the total of £14,500 and when we confronted him with this he declined to do anything to either repay the money or proceed with the event. So since January, Dee and Stu have been working their hearts out to try to still make the event happen and unfortunately due to neither of their faults they have not been able to manage to do this. Therefore it is with deepest regrets that the event has to be cancelled and although I know you will be angry which I completely understand as I would be in your place, please remember that this is down to one man MR BEN BUSH not Dee and Stu.

Ben Busch ist übrigens derjenige, der im letzten Jahr die CoRo Gigs mit organisiert hat.

We have just been informed by Phoenix Events that their event, "HUSH" due to take place in Aberdeen at the end of April, has now been cancelled. There is further information available as to why the event has been cancelled, but with respect to Common Rotation, I will not put it up on this forum.

My question is, as Phoenix Events were helping with setting up venues for the UK tour, due to start in April, does this mean that the tour is still taking place, or will the tour be cancelled to?

Common Rotation's tour in the UK has nothing to do with Phoenix Events and will continue exactly as planned.
